Glasses-free 3D smartphones, while the Optimus 3D Max featuring a 4.3in WVGA screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating and 8GB of internal storage, the Optimus 3D Cube in comparison will have a Nova IPS display of the same size and 16GB of internal storage and it will also come with a microSD slot for expansion by up to a further 32GB. Both smartphones will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, dual 5MP AF camera with dual lenses (for 3D capture), VGA camera on the front, HSPA + 21Mbps support, WiFi, aGPS, HDMI connection via MHL, as well as DNLA for wireless connection with TV/PC (3D video also supported), LG Tag+ NFC capabilities and even Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box. However, LG promises an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade will be deployed shortly after launch. We’ll see both smartphones at MWC next week alongside other new Android smartphones.
