The thin and sleek Acer Iconia Tab A200 is now available in the U.S. on Best Buy’s store for $349.99 regarding the 16GB version, while 8GB version nowhere to be found, so you might have to wait a bit, as that version should start shipping soon as well.
Slated for 15^th of January the Iconia Tab A200 is almost a week late.
Powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, the Iconia Tab A200 also comes equipped with 1GB RAM, 2MP front camera. The display is a respectable 10.1 inch, 1280×800 pixels IPS unit, which provides a great picture, deep contrast and enough brightness to be usable even in direct sunlight, the Tab also features standard Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5 mm audio jack – all present and accounted for. The tablet even has a full sized USB port along with the micro USB – now that’s something you don’t see on every tablet.
The tablet ships with Android Honeycomb, so users shouldn’t expect ICS out of the box just yet. Still, there is hope; the Tab A200 should be receiving the Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich update sometime next month.
